Parents and Students:
On behalf of Sundance Secondary I would like to welcome back all students and teachers returning to the 2017-2018 school year. I hope you all had a relaxing summer and you’re ready to get back into the swing of things.
This year promises to be great, as I have set great expectations for learning. I know that all my staff have also set high expectations and are ready to motivate and encourage all students to engage in a positive learning environment. Teachers have been preparing their classrooms and lesson plans all summer to make this coming school year a memorable one.
Each child at SHS is unique and we treasure each student. All SHS employees will work hard to ensure that your student at SHS learns, grows, and is college or career ready upon graduation. We take pride in where our students go after graduation.
Please take note that the first day back to school is Aug 22. Most of our Fall sports begin Aug 14. I would also like to cordially invite upcoming 7th graders and any new students to our Open House, Aug 21 from 5:15PM – 6:15 PM.
This is going to be a great year at SHS. I can’t wait!
Sundance Secondary Principal – Jim O’Connor
Congrats to our very own principal, Jim O’Connor, on his induction into the Wyoming Coaches Hall of Fame. When you see him this school year congratulate him!!!
