Dear Students and Bulldog families,

 

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I hope this letter finds you rested as the summer comes to an end. I’m excited to get to know each of you as we embark on a new year. With the start date approaching on August 18th, we have an adjusted schedule for the first day.

If you are a new student in the district or a new 7th grader, we invite you to our open house on Thursday, August 13, from 6:00-7:00 PM. It will be my first opportunity to meet with you and your parents. We will have a short presentation in the auditorium, and then we’ll go through an abbreviated class schedule.

 

I’m excited to start this new school year and to help you prepare today for success tomorrow. That is our mission at Sundance Secondary, and it is something our teachers and staff believe wholeheartedly. Please see some important dates listed on the next page:

 

 

-          School begins @ 8 AM.

-          School ends @ 3:57 PM.

-          First day for Fall sports (minus golf) August 17th. 

-          First day of school is Aug 18th.

-          School picture day and Fall sport day Aug 26th.

hathaway scholorship  The State of Wyoming provides Hathaway Merit & Need Scholarships to Wyoming students attending the University of Wyoming and Wyoming community colleges.  Every Wyoming student who meets the merit requirements can earn a Hathaway Merit Scholarship.  Contact your school counselor for more information.
